About the role
- Senior Financial Analyst in the Corporate Planning team managing financial analysis and forecasting. Collaborating cross-functionally across UPS's Finance teams to inform predictive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop, forecast, and analyze UPS’s consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and evaluate working capital trends impacting cash flow performance.
- Upload, validate, and analyze financial data within OneStream (forecasting and planning software).
- Support long-range planning activities using advanced forecasting methodologies and statistical models.
- Create and audit financial reports that inform senior management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related business discipline
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Finance Knowledge: Demonstrates an understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts such as cash flows, operating profit/loss, and net income; conducts financial analyses
- Experience working with and manipulating large sets of data
- Experience with OneStream preferred but not required
- Accounting experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
