About the role

  • Vice President of EMEIA Pulp Sales at UPM leading the sales team and managing commercial operations across EMEIA. Collaborating with internal teams to drive sales initiatives and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEIA Pulp sales team
  • Responsible for overall sales and commercial management in the EMEIA region
  • Collaborate across the UPM Fibres organization to drive sales initiatives
  • Develop market understanding to improve sales strategies
  • Provide sales leadership and direction for solid performance
  • Shape UPM Pulp Sales Management Team strategy and plans

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in engineering, economics, or equivalent field of studies
  • A strong commercial track record of successfully leading an international, multi-country, market-facing organization preferably in pulp or tissue
  • Effective customer relationships and sales growth
  • Strong personal drive and practical business capability to lead a business to long-term success
  • Change readiness, agility and adaptability
  • Collaborative and inclusive leader who listens, supports others and empowers them
  • Fluent in English with additional European language skills.
