About the role

• Senior Accounting Analyst responsible for consolidating financial information across various departments at Unico Skill. Focused on maintaining accounting integrity and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Will act as an accounting analyst, responsible for consolidating information from all FinGov areas.
• Will work directly with the outsourced accounting firm, reporting the information required to prepare the financial statements and validating the returned reports.
• Month-end close routine, including interaction with other departments;
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring the accuracy of information, with supporting reports and remediation plans;
• Support for external audit (Big Four);
• Participate in alignment meetings and continuous improvement processes;
• Ensure compliance with accounting legislation and closing practices for monthly and annual closes, providing information for the Financial Statements.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis);
• 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting or related areas;
• Accounting knowledge in the following topics: bank reconciliation, payroll, provisions and accounting estimates, consolidation, allowance for doubtful accounts (PCLD), revenue and breakage (IFRS 15), and analytical review;
• Interaction with and review of external accounting firms to ensure deadlines are met (manage unexpected events and assess impacts in advance);
• Experience preparing complete IFRS financial statements (accounting schedules and notes);
• Good tax knowledge (direct and indirect taxes);
• Knowledge of ECD and ECF.
• Nice to have (but not required):
• Intermediate English or Spanish;
• Experience with SAP B1, Oracle NetSuite, Protheus, Datasul.
