Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance: You develop a comprehensive OHS strategy, define related standards and ensure that company-wide policies are clear, embedded and continuously improved.
Occupational Safety: You carry out risk assessments, develop safety concepts and ensure that workplaces, processes and equipment are designed safely, with a focus on prevention and sustainable accident avoidance.
Health Management: You are responsible for corporate health management measures, implement ergonomic standards and develop programs that strengthen our employees' physical and mental health.
Compliance & Audit Management: You ensure compliance with legal requirements, conduct internal OHS audits and act as a reliable contact for authorities and external auditors.
Risk Management & Reporting: You systematically identify and assess risks and derive appropriate actions. You also prepare meaningful reports, derive KPIs and use them for continuous improvement.
HSE Culture: You design internal awareness campaigns, deliver trainings and support managers in actively promoting safety-related issues in day-to-day operations.
Project Support & Consulting: You support investment and construction projects, contribute your expertise for new machinery purchases or process changes and ensure that safety requirements are considered early on.
Leadership & Collaboration: You lead your OHS team both professionally and personally, work closely with other departments and ensure that OHS topics are implemented in a structured, pragmatic and goal-oriented manner.
Requirements
OHS expertise: You have solid knowledge of occupational safety, health protection and environmental standards and can translate these into practical operational and strategic measures.
Education & Qualifications: You hold vocational training or a degree in the OHS field, complemented by further training such as certified safety specialist or comparable certifications.
Project & Process Competence: You work in a structured way, have experience with Lean, risk or audit processes and can drive projects methodically and solution-oriented.
Communication Skills: You can convey complex content clearly, conduct training sessions and successfully bring different stakeholders on board.
Analytical Skills: You use data and KPIs to make well-founded decisions, set priorities and derive improvement measures.
Leadership & Change: You lead your team in a motivating way, actively support change processes and help anchor a sustainable safety and health culture in the company.
Proactive Work Style: You act responsibly, identify risks early and find pragmatic solutions that balance safety, cost-effectiveness and feasibility.
Language Skills: Excellent German to communicate safety requirements clearly, understandably and appropriately to the target audience. English would also be an advantage.
