About the role

  • Consultant implementing IoT and Big Data telecom projects. Manage strategic projects and develop solutions for client operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement strategic projects, solutions, and products that accelerate business growth and enable the adoption of new models to make our clients' operations more efficient, profitable, and competitive;
  • Independently execute activities across the various project outputs within project management (PMO): schedule, project charter, risk matrix, and communication plan;
  • Be able to solve complex problems and structure strategic projects, solutions, and products, as well as perform in-depth analyses;
  • Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity;
  • Act as the interface with clients and other stakeholders;
  • Build and maintain a lean, effective operational cadence for communication, reporting, accountability, and decision-making so clients and teams remain informed;
  • Manage and monitor key KPIs and business reports;
  • Lead and support the project team to remove obstacles and meet proposed deliverables;
  • Must be available to travel within our area of operations.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years' experience in the development and deployment of mobile network projects in telecommunications, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel);
  • Customer-oriented: Understand clients' requirements and needs and translate them into opportunities for the organization;
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and present it clearly and in a structured manner;
  • Communication skills: Active listening and the ability to clearly convey ideas to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders within the organization;
  • Experience defining designs, new architectures, technologies, equipment, and software versions to be implemented to ensure network growth and technological evolution;
  • Hands-on experience and technical leadership in large-scale and technology transformation projects, such as Long Term Evolution (4G), 5G (NSA and SA), Internet of Things (IoT), etc.;
  • Knowledge of key applications and services that can be installed, configured, and activated on LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) networks, major access technologies (NB-IoT, LTE-M/CAT-M), and integration architecture between LPWA networks and other systems;
  • Knowledge of primary deployment strategies for private 4G networks, migration plans to private 5G networks, and of the main elements and functionalities that make up Access Networks: 2G (GSM, GPRS, EDGE), 3G (WCDMA/UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+), 4G (LTE, LTE-Advanced), IoT (NB-IoT, LTE-M), and 5G (NSA and SA);
  • Desirable knowledge of solutions and functions: E2E Network Slicing (End-to-End Network Slicing), NFVI (Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure), MEC (Mobile Edge Computing), CNF (Cloud-Native Network Function), mMTC (Massive Machine-Type Communication), URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication), and VoNR (Voice over New Radio);
  • Degree: Preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Postgraduate: Specialization in Project Management, Telecommunications, Information Technology, a Master's degree, or MBA is desirable;
  • Languages: Advanced English; Advanced Spanish;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field
