About the role
- Warehouse & Logistics Manager responsible for shipping and receiving, managing inventory, and leading a team at Trivium Packaging in Youngstown, OH.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular counts of finished goods inventory and record numbers.
- Report out on inventory available for upcoming orders.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to set up outbound freight as well as communicate with customers to meet their materials needs.
- Manage and retain all shipping paperwork.
- Create OTIF status reports as well as any other reports needed by Trivium Management.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and schedule any needed maintenance (walkie talkies, tow motors, etc.)
- Lead, train and develop Team Leads and Materials Handlers.
- Conduct performance reviews, interviews for direct reports.
- Ensures assignments meet established standards and deadlines.
- Authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions.
- Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent related experience in Supply Chain Management.
- 5-8 years’ experience in managing employees and warehouse goods.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Previous experience using computerized system to track and document the transformation of raw materials to finished goods.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization and communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
