Responsibilities
- Support managers and carry out activities across more than one functional area of supply chain management
- Contribute to the formulation of functional strategies and support implementation across regions and departments
- Conduct research and analysis in SCM and assist in developing relevant (global) policies and budget planning
- Identify process and system optimization opportunities at global and/or regional levels
- Execute assigned responsibilities to meet targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and schedule
- Assess supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- University degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualification
- Initial professional experience in supply chain management with a focus on logistics
- First experience in project work is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of teamwork
- Structured approach combined with proactivity
- Good knowledge of SAP R/3 modules
- Very good written and spoken German and English
