Responsibilities
Support managers and carry out activities across more than one functional area of supply chain management
Contribute to the formulation of functional strategies and support implementation across regions and departments
Conduct research and analysis in SCM and assist in developing relevant (global) policies and budget planning
Identify process and system optimization opportunities at global and/or regional levels
Execute assigned responsibilities to meet targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and schedule
Assess supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance and improvement initiatives
Requirements
University degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualification
Initial professional experience in supply chain management with a focus on logistics
First experience in project work is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of teamwork
Structured approach combined with proactivity
Good knowledge of SAP R/3 modules
Very good written and spoken German and English
