About the role
- Chief Financial Officer managing financial performance for Trinity Health’s operations across Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia. Leading strategic initiatives and ensuring financial integrity across multiple hospitals and health systems.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the overall management of Trinity Health's Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Georgia Regional Health Ministries by driving key strategies and financial performance as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Proactively works in a collaborative manner with other members of the Finance functional leaders, Senior Leadership Team and with Trinity Health System Office and Shared Service Organizations to improve financial performance and attain strategic goals and objectives.
- Provides financial stewardship and direction to the assigned service area through effective business leadership, strategy development, internal controls and operating and capital budget development, monitoring and management.
- Provides oversight of other market finance executives within the Services Area and engages in enterprise level strategy alignment.
- Manages teams of senior professionals and leads or engages in multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
- Assisting in managing the company's finances, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and preparing operating budgets.
- Responsible for the integrity of all financial information and reporting.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or related field required.
- Ten years’ experience in financial management with progressively increasing responsibility and a minimum of five years’ experience as CFO, controller or finance director in a hospital setting or complex service organization is required.
