About the role

  • Strategy Manager leading corporate strategy development at Transurban. Collaborating across the business to align strategies, identify value opportunities, and analyse emerging trends.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and steer Transurban’s corporate strategy, driving clarity on enterprise-wide priorities and proactively surfacing value opportunities that will accelerate progress toward our 2030 goals and beyond.
  • Influence and challenge senior business leaders by analysing emerging market and sector trends and translating their implications into clear strategic guidance.
  • Lead the development of high impact strategy artefacts and Executive/Board level thinking, ensuring insights, options and recommendations are robust, evidence based and aligned to enterprise strategic direction.
  • Drive delivery of complex, cross functional strategic initiatives, ensuring programs are executed with discipline, pace and measurable outcomes that strengthen Transurban’s long-term strategic position.
  • Cultivate influential internal and external networks to unlock insights, shape strategic direction, and position Transurban effectively in line with broader policy and market dynamics.
  • Work closely with Transurban's Investor Relations team from time to time on market facing activities including preparation of ASX announcements, investor materials for half-yearly results and Investor Days.

Requirements

  • Experience in corporate strategy development with strong analytical, commercial and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to influence, build relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments across diverse business functions.
  • Experience delivering complex strategic work programs and adapting effectively within an evolving, matrix organisation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Finance, Accounting and/or Law) and five+ years' experience in strategic consulting, sell-side research, investment banking, capital markets, or related fields.
