About the role

  • Payroll Administrator handling payroll and benefits administration for North American employees. Ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll processes for employees in North America
  • Ensure payroll is submitted accurately and on time
  • Perform all start-of-year and year-end tasks
  • Prepare reports related to payroll and payroll-related expenses
  • Reconcile absence data with payroll records
  • Prepare and submit remittances and government-related payroll and tax requirements
  • Manage benefit administration for employees in Canada
  • Review invoices related to payroll and benefit charges
  • Assist in validating payroll entries for employees in EMEA and APAC
  • Ensure payroll processes align to local employment legislation and policies
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and maintain compliance with government regulations

Requirements

  • Diploma/certificate in payroll, finance, or accounting
  • Qualified payroll practitioner (e.g., PCP)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with payroll software and Microsoft products, particularly Excel
  • Customer-service oriented and proficient in English
  • Other languages, particularly French, would be an asset
