About the role

  • IT System Specialist developing IT solutions utilizing agile methodologies for Tokio Marine's operational needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop IT system solutions using agile methodologies and industry best practices to meet the insurer's operational and strategic needs.
  • Implement integrations between internal and third-party systems using market tools to ensure correct data transfer and synchronization.
  • Perform system testing using validation and automation techniques to identify and fix defects, improving platform performance and usability.
  • Optimize system processes and features by analyzing performance indicators and user feedback to raise operational efficiency and internal customer experience.
  • Support the definition of technical requirements and project schedules, collaborating with business areas and multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliveries within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Provide technical support to internal users, proactively resolving questions and issues with a focus on continuous improvement of IT services.
  • Update and configure systems according to company demands, implementing improvements, adjustments, and new features aligned with market technology trends.
  • Prepare technical documentation for systems and processes, following traceability and compliance standards to ensure alignment with the company's IT policies.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to promote continuity and evolution of IT services with high availability and performance.
  • Participate in projects and maintenance activities for systems of low to medium complexity, contributing to innovation and stability of the technology environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed
  • Intermediate-level English
  • Experience implementing large-scale projects in insurance companies
  • Experience in the insurance market, preferably working with Life or Pension insurance systems
  • Desired technical knowledge: Spring Framework (Dependency Injection, spring-boot, Web, JPA); JavaEE (JSP, EJB, CDI); Application servers - WildFly, Tomcat; Messaging (RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ); Oracle Database (PL/SQL, Data Modeling); Git, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven; Systems architecture (basic); Unit testing; HTML, CSS, JS and JavaScript frameworks (Angular 2+, Vue.js, React)
