About the role
- Account Executive serving as primary business contact for client satisfaction while ensuring quality in insurance coverage. Building relationships to foster new and repeat business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serves as client advocate and a primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Develops professional business relationships with all clients
- Manages client expectations, service commitments, and anticipates needs of the client
- Understands client’s deficiencies in coverage and consults with them
- Analyzes personal or commercial lines accounts and makes coverage decisions
- Works with larger and complex accounts to assist clients with insurance plans
- Acts as field underwriter to determine coverage binding
- Strategically remarkets renewals to ensure account retention
- Prepares proposals for clients in a timely manner
- Provides service to current and new clients regarding policy coverage
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry required
- College degree preferred
- CPCU and/or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designations, a plus
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of personal and/or commercial lines of coverage
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of risk management and loss control
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
