About the role
- Cloud Engineer managing Azure infrastructure technologies for Tokio Marine North America Services. Responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of secure cloud environments with Tier 3 support.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for management and engineering of infrastructure technologies
- Serve as a technology resource for Azure infrastructure and related systems
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure issues
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure services
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zones
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Bicep
- Perform and coordinate routine maintenance on responsible systems
- Develop and maintain SOP’s and QRG’s for infrastructure tasks
- Create documentation of overall infrastructure systems architecture
- Support the creation of capacity plans and maintaining configuration management
- Participate in vendor and solution evaluations as assigned
- Implement and support monitoring, alerting, and logging using cloud resources
- Assist with the implementation of best practice security measures
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Core infrastructure design
- Azure foundations and Azure Landing Zone methodologies
- Cloud networking such as VPCs, Private Endpoints, NSGs and firewalls
- AI technologies such as OpenAI, AI Foundry, Gemini, etc.
- Infrastructure automation technologies such as Terraform, VMware Cloud Foundations, Azure Bicep and ARM templates
- Backup technologies and overall data recovery methodologies
- Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, SAML/OpenID connect, DNS/DHCP and encryption solutions
- Monitoring technologies, automation scripting and management, deployment, and system maintenance methodologies
