About the role
- Technical Consultant for TIM responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting CORE network incidents. Engaging with various teams for effective resolution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring, responding to, and resolving incidents in TIM's CORE network and, when necessary, escalating to other resolving teams.
- Monitor alarms and detect network faults;
- Perform troubleshooting of medium-complexity faults;
- Open internal tickets through the system and with other operators;
- Provide technical support to the field team.
Requirements
- Completed technical course or higher education (in progress or completed), preferably in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Data Networks;
- Experience with Fixed and Mobile CORE networks;
- Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G and 5G mobile networks, including architecture, topology, network functions, and Core signaling;
- Experience troubleshooting Core platforms from vendors Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Mahindra;
- Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and standards/protocols (SS7/ISUP, VoIP/SIP, ISDN, RTP, MGCP, ENUM, INAP, HTTP);
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of IoT and private 4G and 5G networks;
- Basic knowledge of Virtualized/Cloud Networks;
- Basic English: reading and writing.
