Technical Consultant for TIM responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting CORE network incidents. Engaging with various teams for effective resolution.
Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring, responding to, and resolving incidents in TIM's CORE network and, when necessary, escalating to other resolving teams.
Monitor alarms and detect network faults;
Perform troubleshooting of medium-complexity faults;
Open internal tickets through the system and with other operators;
Provide technical support to the field team.
Requirements
Completed technical course or higher education (in progress or completed), preferably in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Data Networks;
Experience with Fixed and Mobile CORE networks;
Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G and 5G mobile networks, including architecture, topology, network functions, and Core signaling;
Experience troubleshooting Core platforms from vendors Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Mahindra;
Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and standards/protocols (SS7/ISUP, VoIP/SIP, ISDN, RTP, MGCP, ENUM, INAP, HTTP);
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Knowledge of IoT and private 4G and 5G networks;
Basic knowledge of Virtualized/Cloud Networks;
Basic English: reading and writing.
