About the role

  • Safety Technician at TIM responsible for compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting inspections, training, and audits. Focused on workplace safety and managing emergency processes in Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing and/or monitoring compliance with all legal occupational safety requirements applicable to the company (e.g., PGR - Risk Management Program, CIPA - Internal Commission for Accident Prevention, Emergency Brigade, etc.), aiming to ensure legal compliance and to minimize or eliminate health risks to stakeholders.
  • Conduct analyses of accidents and near-misses, providing guidelines and analysis methodologies to determine root causes and proposing control measures to block and/or neutralize risks.
  • Provide technical support to business areas, always focused on legal compliance and the safety and physical integrity of those involved.
  • Conduct and participate in inspections covering a wide range of safety-related topics.
  • Conduct and participate in certification audits as well as internal investigations.
  • Control and report the indicators/KPIs for the regions under your responsibility.
  • Deliver training sessions as required.
  • Develop and implement occupational safety management procedures.
  • Actively participate in the design and execution of SIPAT (Internal Week for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents).
  • Evaluate contractors' and subcontractors' compliance with legal requirements, including their authorization to perform activities, and monitor/report any accidents or near-misses involving them.
  • Promote and coordinate annual emergency drills for buildings in your areas of responsibility, in accordance with the Emergency Response Program (PAE), which may be developed internally by the professional with support from occupational safety engineers.
  • Form, maintain and closely monitor the activities of CIPAs (Internal Commissions for Accident Prevention).

Requirements

  • Desired qualification: Occupational Safety Technician (technical certification)
  • Proven, solid experience in the field
  • Experience working in large companies and, preferably, in organizations with broad national coverage
  • Field experience and experience developing or implementing management processes and performance indicators
  • Experience with emergency procedures, especially related to fire protection and firefighting
  • Basic knowledge of ESG principles
