About the role

  • Modern Infrastructure and Security Architect at MUFG responsible for directing cyber security initiatives. Collaborating with engineers to enhance security features and tools across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • direct the execution of cyber security
  • identify, proof-of-concept, pilot, and incubate cyber security capabilities across the organization
  • maintain visibility of cyber security capabilities gaps
  • roll out these capabilities using system reliability engineering (SRE) practices and open-source software (OSS)
  • improve the overall experience of our product by enhancing security features and processes
  • create integrations and tools to improve the cloud and legacy environments' security
  • identify areas of improvement in the code base
  • iterate on new features within the Digital Team
  • fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker
  • write high-quality code to complete scheduled direction issues assigned by your Technical Lead

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in engineering
  • administration of software delivery tools
  • modern scripting languages
  • cloud automation
  • infrastructure design and operating solutions built on AWS, Azure, or OCI
  • experience with Modern AI tools including Bedrock, CoPilot Suite
  • experience with Lex and Textract
  • in depth engineering skills within at least one of these fields: cyber security, machine learning, analytics, CI/CD for software defined infrastructures, data-as-a-service, real time event streaming, intelligence augmentation, systems automation
  • comfortable working in an Agile environment
  • modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
  • hands-on experiences with JavaScript and associated web technologies (CSS, semantics HTML)
  • collaborate effectively with UX Designers, Developers, and Designers
  • communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
  • experience with performance and optimization problems
