About the role

Responsibilities
- Record, transfer, and retire fixed assets in SAP by completing forms and reviewing supporting documentation to maintain the accuracy of the asset register.
- Perform reconciliations of asset and liability accounts by matching ERP-FI with auxiliary ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly for period close.
- Calculate projected and actual monthly depreciation using the company’s system parameters to ensure correct recognition of asset wear in the financial results.
- Review and validate requests for manual accounting entries by verifying supporting documentation and the nature of the accounts to ensure compliance of records.
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting evidence for internal and external audits by compiling histories and justifications to support the financial statements.
- Update internal controls monthly, ensuring proper documentation and supporting evidence for accounting validation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Calculate the financial impact of foreign exchange fluctuations on assets and liabilities using SAP and record the corresponding accounting entries, ensuring appropriate measurement and recognition of effects on results.
- Load and integrate external balance sheets into SAP, ensuring standardization of information and enabling the company’s financial consolidation within a single system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience in accounting routines, fixed asset management, and account reconciliations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced SAP FI (AA - Asset Accounting, GL - General Ledger).
- Basic knowledge of CPCs (Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements).
- Intermediate English or Spanish.
