About the role

  • SEO Manager leading in-house SEO across AU/UK for a global building materials company. Shaping customer discovery and engagement with measurable impact and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-house SEO across AU/UK, shaping how customers discover the brand with measurable impact, supported by a thoughtful, collaborative team.
  • Own the SEO across AU and the UK as an initial focus, shaping how customers discover and engage with the brand.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and leadership to strengthen communication, stabilize foundations and build SEO structures that support long-term growth.
  • Improve technical SEO (crawlability, indexing, architecture & internal linking).
  • Implement structured data and AI-search readiness.
  • Manage international SEO: hreflang, canonicalization, AU/UK localization, redirect mapping, migration preparation, duplicate/thin content cleanup & indexation control.
  • Develop content & search architecture, perform keyword clustering & semantic mapping, optimize on-page content hierarchy & governance.
  • Create dashboards in GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, Ahrefs/Semrush; provide weekly snapshots, monthly insights, and quarterly roadmaps; maintain clear documentation of decisions, reasoning & priorities.
  • Provide light oversight of Google Ads via external partners (once SEO foundations are stable).

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years SEO experience
  • International experience (AU/UK ideal)
  • Strong technical depth (crawl/indexing/CWV/schema)
  • Migration experience or readiness
  • Confidence working with developers, UX, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent documentation & clarity in communication
  • A solutions-focused approach in dynamic environments
