About the role

  • Associate Sales Executive in Tax & Accounting segment responsible for retaining and acquiring accounts. Requires strong sales skills and knowledge of tax and accounting industry with virtual role.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new customers and close sales for an assigned geography and/or for leads assigned as part of a pooled resource group.
  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer.
  • Validate customer needs, shape product plans and drive deals to close.
  • Support in developing and executing territory growth strategies.
  • Focus on new logo acquisition and mid-contract upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Possess core knowledge across products within the subsegment, and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required to drive to close.
  • Use an automated and insight-driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals.
  • KPIs include: Nurturing opportunities and moving more complex sales to close i.e. New logo sales & Existing 'non' named' account incremental sales.
  • Work with internal resources to lead, advance and close sales cycles.
  • Positively contribute to the company culture and add to the team dynamic.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
  • Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Ability to win new customers as well as cross sell/upsell existing customers
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude
  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude
  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethic
