About the role

  • Paralegal in Employment Rights Equal Pay team handling complex multi-claimant cases. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in employment law and litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and management of multi claimant equal pay cases.
  • Supporting lawyers on existing files and helping to progress cases through the litigation process.
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Preparing bundles and assisting with disclosure exercises.
  • Liaising with clients, tribunals, Counsel and other third parties.
  • Using case management systems and Microsoft Office effectively to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a legal environment, ideally within litigation or employment law, although this is not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A clear and confident communication style, both written and verbal.
  • An empathetic and professional approach to client care.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage competing priorities.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using electronic case management systems.
