About the role

  • Quality assurance and analytics for food production at Th. Geyer Ingredients. Responsibilities include conducting analyses, organizing samples, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Performing analyses for production quality assurance, including sample management, laboratory organization, and tests to extend best-before dates
  • Organizing and sending samples to external laboratories, monitoring and documenting results, and maintaining close communication to clarify queries
  • Conducting regular hygiene inspections and microbiological tests to ensure product and facility hygiene
  • Supporting maintenance, functionality and safety of laboratory equipment and performing regular safety checks
  • Regular monitoring of production to ensure compliance with HACCP measures and verifying implementation of cleaning and disinfection plans
  • Preparing reports for internal audits and supporting external audits and inspections, including blocking and release of products in case of deviations

Requirements

  • Vocational training or degree in food technology, pharmaceutical technology, chemistry, or equivalent qualifications
  • Ideally, professional experience in Quality Management / Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs for Food & Beverages
  • Expertise in HACCP, ISO 9001, or organic certification is desirable
  • Confident user of common MS Office applications and experience with an ERP system
  • Very good German and good English skills required
