About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager in Thermo Fisher Scientific's Biosciences Division. Developing customer relationships and overseeing sales strategies in Karnataka & Kerala.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers
  • Promote the comprehensive portfolio of innovative products and services
  • Oversee sales strategies and ensure team achieves sales and profitability targets
  • Collaborate across functions to optimize customer solutions
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and exceptional service delivery

Requirements

  • Masters Degree plus 8 years of experience in sales in life sciences, laboratory products, or related industry
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of sales team management experience preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Experience using CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and data analytics tools
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with focus on coaching and developing teams
  • Excellent strategic planning and business analysis capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and pricing management skills
  • Effective presentation and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key customer relationships
  • Proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Experience managing distributor and channel partner relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Demonstrated experience implementing change and supporting continuous improvement
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment
