About the role

  • Global Marketing Specialist driving awareness and adoption of eCommerce features at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Collaborating with teams to execute marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive digital platform usage.

Responsibilities

  • Support new and/or updated eCommerce launches by planning and executing marketing and communication initiatives that drive customer engagement and adoption across eCommerce and eProcurement platforms
  • Enable our Sales and Service teams by providing impactful marketing tools, and training to empower our teams to drive customers to utilize digital for self-service and order management
  • Partner with eCommerce product, and business teams to ensure aligned, effective execution of platform initiatives
  • Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, and workshops to educate internal teams and customers on platform updates and enhancements
  • Own content updates related to website enhancements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely communication to internal and external audiences
  • Monitor user behavior, feedback, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and optimize the platform experience
  • Collaborate with Business Development and eProcurement teams to support integration and functionality across ThermoFisher.com, FisherSci.com, and connected procurement platforms
  • Regularly communicate metrics, successes, failures, and effective processes to enhance team efficiency by utilizing performance data and insights to refine marketing strategies and improve engagement, adoption, and overall effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing or relevant experience
  • Experience in downstream marketing, ideally supporting eCommerce and eProcurement platforms
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and operating within a matrix organization to achieve goals
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to internal and customer-facing audiences
  • Experience in using Quantum Metrics or Adobe to create regular reporting and inform marketing decisions
  • Analytical skills with ability to derive insights from campaign data and metrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success achieving marketing KPIs and business results
