About the role
- Senior Performance Analytics Consultant analyzing and reporting on auto physical damage claims. Collaborating with teams to deliver insights and drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Ability to identify and drive meaningful improvement within the Claims organization.
- Monitor metrics and identify trends, actively participating in a cross functional team to understand root causes.
- Opportunity to connect newsworthy macro trends to claims trends and operational performance.
- Drive progress and consult on important initiatives through engagement in the Auto Value Stream.
- Compile monthly reporting exhibits and deliver insights to segment and actuarial leaders at monthly meetings.
- Develop presentation material for a senior leadership audience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in data analysis or performance analytics preferred.
- Demonstrated strong data analytics skills and familiarity with various tools used for data exploration, analysis and visualization (e.g. Snowflake, Oracle, Excel, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills preferred with ability to manage and manipulate large data sets.
- Auto claim experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business partners to deliver on actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships.
- Ability to execute on multiple projects concurrently while managing competing priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives.
- Ability to lead without having formal authority and to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing trends (operational, industry, and technological)
- Strong attention to customer needs and capability to translate into actionable solutions.
- Documented track record of creating innovative data solutions; passion for delivering outcomes.
- Understanding of the Agile framework is a plus.
