About the role

  • Commercial Sales Representative focused on pest control services and building long-term contracts through strategic B2B growth. Engage in various commercial segments, ensuring compliance and client relations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct commercial inspections and assessments for businesses, facilities, and property groups as required
  • Design tailored pest management programs based on industry compliance, sanitation, and risk thresholds
  • Present contract options to decision-makers with a consultative, value-driven approach
  • Develop multi-location and multi-year contract opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and pricing aligned with company standards
  • Prospect high-value commercial segments such as Restaurants & foodservice, Hospitality & lodging, Property management & HOAs, Warehousing & logistics, Retail centers, Healthcare & assisted living, Schools, government, and institutional accounts
  • Build credibility through technical knowledge, problem-solving, and regulatory understanding
  • Attend and engage at Chamber of Commerce events, BNI and professional networking groups, Industry trade shows and business expos, Property management association events
  • Build long-term relationships with commercial clients, referral partners, and community leaders
  • Leverage event participation to rapidly grow commercial lead volume
  • Maintain an active commercial pipeline with consistent outreach activity
  • Log inspections, notes, and progress through CRM systems (FieldRoutes or similar)
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets for commercial programs
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure service expectations are aligned with contract requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial sales, preferably in pest control, facility services, building services, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of professional B2B sales cycles
  • Ability to engage confidently with business owners and decision-makers
  • Excellent planning, territory management, and proposal-building skills
  • Professional appearance, communication, and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Commercial pest control sales experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of industry regulations (food safety, sanitation, audits) (preferred)
  • Experience selling multi-location or multi-year contracts (preferred)
  • Familiarity with FieldRoutes or similar CRM (preferred)
