About the role

  • Sales Manager focusing on B2B sales development for textile products at textilwerk. Building and managing relationships with Concept Stores and other partners in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the B2B go-to-market strategy for concept stores, furniture retailers, and hotel & gastronomy customers
  • Definition of target segments, offering packages, and pricing and margin logic
  • Building a B2B MVP to test and validate the concept
  • Active retailer acquisition and management of existing customers
  • Qualification and closing of initial and follow-up orders
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term retailer relationships
  • Participation in trade fairs, showrooms, or pop-up events
  • Management of the offer and ordering process
  • Close coordination with Operations on lead times, availability, and samples
  • Setting up basic CRM structures and sales processes
  • Systematic collection of retailer feedback for optimization
  • Analysis of relevant KPIs (leads, conversion, basket value, repeat purchases)
  • Deriving assortment and process optimizations
  • Preparing for scaling (automation, retailer programs, key accounts)

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management
  • Experience building new sales structures (startup, scale-up, or new business unit)
  • Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong execution capability
  • High degree of ownership and a structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel – you enjoy meeting customers in person
  • Nice to have: experience in retail, interiors, design, D2C, or FMCG
  • Experience in B2B sales to retailers, concept stores, or furniture retailers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive)
  • Trade fair or showroom experience
