About the role
- Energy System Integration Engineer integrating control technology for TESVOLT's efficient energy storage systems. Collaborating with teams to enhance energy solutions for a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
- Integration of control and regulation technology into TESVOLT battery storage systems
- Responsibility for the integration and configuration of EZA controllers according to VDE-AR-N 4110
- Execution of system tests and support of commissioning activities in the test field
- Creation and maintenance of documentation for control and regulation technology
- Analysis and resolution of faults in existing and new systems
- Close collaboration with other departments (e.g., product management, service) and suppliers to develop solutions
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering/energy engineering, automation engineering, or a technical vocational qualification with practical experience
- Experience working with grid operators and with photovoltaic/energy storage projects
- Familiarity with integration and configuration of EZA controllers according to VDE-AR-N 4110 and remote control (telecontrol) technologies
- Advantageous: experience with medium voltage, digital medium-voltage switchgear, industrial automation, energy storage systems, and electrical planning
- Knowledge of Codesys in conjunction with WAGO controllers
- Knowledge of measurement technology and confident handling of electrical measuring instruments
- As a qualified electrical specialist, experienced handling the hazards of electrical current
- Team player with good communication skills
- Independent, responsible, and structured working style
- Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written
