About the role

  • Head of Event Sales managing event sales and experiences in a hybrid role. Leading the Event Sales Team in a dynamic hospitality environment in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Event Sales team, including coaching, development and resource planning
  • Responsibility for budget, revenue development and performance metrics in the events area
  • Preparation of reports, analyses and revenue forecasts for the Head of Events and executive management
  • Development, implementation and marketing of innovative event concepts to increase space utilization
  • Strategic planning and positioning of event spaces (including sister companies)
  • Cross-functional coordination with Revenue, Marketing, F&B and Operations
  • Monitoring and optimization of process quality — from lead to event completion
  • Market and competitor analyses to identify trends and potential opportunities
  • Representing the company at trade shows, events and industry networks

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the events or sales sector, ideally in a leadership role
  • Completed vocational training or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of KPIs
  • Confident communication skills in German and English
  • Leadership competence with focus on the team and company objectives
  • Resilient, solution-oriented and proactive — especially in times of change
  • Experience with Opera Cloud, MS Office and reporting tools desirable
