Senior Planning & Operations Executive ensuring smooth digital advertising campaigns for The Telegraph. Working with Sales and Ad Tech teams to deliver exceptional client results.
Responsibilities
Support the PlanOps Manager and Head of Planning & Operations by maintaining and continuously improving team workflows and processes, ensuring campaigns run smoothly from start to finish.
Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring and training to Planning & Operations Executives and junior team members, helping them develop skills and confidence in their roles.
Stay up to date with Telegraph ad products, platforms, systems and emerging formats, acting as a go-to expert for the wider team.
Work closely with Sales and external partners to optimise campaign performance, troubleshoot delivery issues and maximise commercial outcomes.
Maintain exceptional standards across campaign delivery, documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
Step in to represent the PlanOps Manager when required, supporting leadership decisions and acting as a senior point of contact.
Take ownership of key operational responsibilities such as rota planning, takeover management and PMP/PG order health checks.
Help raise the profile of the Planning & Operations function internally and externally by building strong relationships and representing the team professionally.
Requirements
Experience in an AdOps or AdTech role
A high level of accuracy, consistently delivering work to an excellent standard
Strong numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail
Confident using IT systems and quick to learn new tools and platforms
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate level)
Ability to traffic ad campaigns across rich media formats, including new and cross-platform formats
Experience working with 3rd-party ad servers (e.g. GAM)
Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTML, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to colleagues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to provide constructive feedback and build strong working relationships
Creative problem solver, able to translate ideas into practical solutions
Awareness of market trends and the competitive landscape relevant to The Telegraph
