About the role
- IT Project Manager overseeing full project lifecycle of critical infrastructure IT projects. Supporting clients with technical project leadership and change management in transportation sector.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle of IT projects in a safety-critical environment with a technical focus
- Support our clients in project execution as Technical Project Manager
- Coordinate migration and system integration activities
- Lead project delivery discussions with manufacturers/suppliers and clients' internal specialist departments
- Provide technical consulting to clients at management level – business analysis, evaluation of solution concepts, establishment of IT service management
- Support program-level reporting
- Execute and coordinate change and problem management
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (University of Applied Sciences/University) with a focus in fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, automation engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in planning and implementing technical projects, e.g., as an architect, analyst, requirements engineer, or test manager
- Several years of experience delivering IT projects in a leading or supporting role
- Project management training, preferably evidenced by a certification such as PMI PMP or IPMA Level C
- Solid experience in change and problem management
- Experience with traffic signal control systems / urban traffic controllers and tunnel control systems desirable
- Professional demeanor, analytical approach and a "big-picture" perspective
- Independent and proactive working style with goal- and results-orientation
- Excellent communication skills for moderation and presentation
- Business-fluent German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
