About the role

  • Maintenance Manager responsible for maintenance and grounds management at Ooraminna Station Homestead in Central Australia. Contributing to safe guest experiences through well-maintained facilities and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general maintenance and grounds management across the property
  • Ensure a safe, functional and visually appealing environment for guests and staff
  • Practical, hands‑on work in outdoor conditions
  • Support both planned (preventative) and urgent (responsive) maintenance tasks
  • Actively contribute to a safe and high‑quality guest experience through well‑maintained facilities and grounds
  • Ensure sustainable and environmentally responsible practices are maintained or implemented.

Requirements

  • Experience in general maintenance, landscaping or facilities work (tourism or hospitality experience highly regarded)
  • Working knowledge of tools, equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an outdoor setting
  • Commitment to sustainable, environmentally responsible and land care practices
  • Clear communication and problem‑solving skills
  • A valid driver’s license
