Responsibilities
Support and maintain current network infrastructure
Create and maintain procedural and operational documentation
Provide Tier 2 escalation support for the Network Operations Center
Complete Preventative Maintenance activities, such as code updates & equipment updates
Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvements
Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management & Capacity Management
Collaborate with peers to develop documentation for standard practices
Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
Respond to inquiries from client, staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors
Requirements
6 years extensive experience in the support of Networking Technologies
Strong technical decision-making skills
Advanced knowledge in the security of enterprise networks
Advanced level understanding of OSPF, BGP, VPLS and MPLS and various routing technologies
Advanced knowledge and in-depth experience to troubleshoot all layers of the OSI model
Experience with NX-OS, IOS, SD-WAN, PANOS, or FTD
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology
Knowledge of automation tools
Working knowledge of monitoring tools like ThousandEyes and Solarwinds
