About the role

  • Sales Specialist managing commercial and account-related activities for Harman Automotive products in Japan. Collaborating with other sales management team members and supporting business growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Support all commercial and account-related activities
  • Collaborate with sales management team members
  • Support planning and execution of sales management for Harman Automotive products
  • Manage day-to-day communication with customers for commercial topics
  • Support prototype delivery and pricing, tooling cost & development cost reimbursement
  • Develop future business opportunities pipeline, competitor information analysis, benchmarking to support business growth strategy

Requirements

  • Business experience working with Japanese OEMs
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years working experience in Japanese automotive industry
  • Willing to work in an office in Ota, Gunma or Tokyo
  • Willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey customer requirements to internal teams
  • Negotiation skills to find solutions that work for both customers and Harman
  • Strong interpersonal skills in Japanese and English
