Responsibilities
- Professional and operational leadership of our financial accounting team of 30 employees (m/f/d)
- Ensure smooth execution of all accounting processes
- Overall responsibility for proper and legally compliant bookkeeping in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Actively participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Ensure reliable closing results and perform account reconciliations
- Work closely with related departments
- Drive continuous optimization and development of our accounting structures, workflows, and systems
- Serve as the central point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and authorities
- Ensure professional and transparent communication as well as timely provision of all relevant documentation
- Provide decision-relevant financial information and actively support business management queries and strategic corporate processes
Requirements
- Professional background in an auditing or consulting firm
- Experience in commercial/financial management of companies is desirable
- Solid knowledge in relevant commercial/financial areas
- Strong MS Office skills; SAP and DATEV knowledge advantageous; high IT affinity
- Independent and structured working style; reliable
