Finance Officer supporting financial operations of a multi-site hospitality group. Managing high-volume transactions and reconciliations with a collaborative team in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
Perform daily journal postings into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls.
Manage end-to-end debtor and creditor support, including invoicing, reconciliation, and payment processing.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations across high-volume accounts.
Prepare and send debtor invoices promptly.
Reconcile creditor invoices for approval and payment processing.
Complete reconciliations primarily using Microsoft Excel.
Utilise and adapt to various software tools, including Opera and Micros, as well as other systems as required.
Collaborate with internal teams, other departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Communicate effectively via email and telephone to resolve queries and support financial processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly high-volume reconciliations.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with Infor, Opera, and Micros systems is preferred but not essential.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Amenable to a hybrid work setup (onsite in Ortigas, Pasig, once every two weeks).
