About the role
- Financial Operations Analyst ensuring accurate financial transactions at Tabby. Collaborating with finance and technology teams for data integrity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Extract relevant data from database queries using SQL and SFTP using automated extraction scripts for analytical purposes.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and revenue reports of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness for the loan products of Tabby
- Develop and implement reconciliation processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between internal and external statements;
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, operations, and technology teams, to highlight and resolve the gaps to fully automate data accuracy across internal and external sources
- Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Maintain thorough documentation of analytical processes and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
- Project Management of financial reconciliation and revenue attribution projects across multiple internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Manage and maintain the life cycle of relevant data tools/tables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a reconciliation or financial analytics role, preferably within a fintech or financial services company.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience of working with tableau and BigQuery is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with financial systems and reconciliation tools.
- Ability to gather and analyze inputs from various stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
