About the role

  • Financial Accountant handling complex Intercompany and Fixed asset activities to support International business. Ensuring compliance and collaborating with business partners in Budapest.

Responsibilities

  • You will complete complex Intercompany and Fixed assets&CAPEX activities in order to support the International business.
  • You will ensure compliance with the company policies, internal controls, laws and regulations and accounting standards.
  • You will be based in Budapest and will report to the ACoRe Team Manager.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of the month/year end closing activities
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations related to Fixed assets&CAPEX and Intercompany
  • Provide data for and support internal/external audits
  • Maintain cooperative relationship with the business partners and colleagues
  • Prepare and maintain process manuals/WI up to date
  • Managing accounting process for whole lifecycle of assets from order approval until end of useful-life of assets
  • Posting and settle the Fixed asset related journal entries
  • Perform the capitalization, disposal, master data changes
  • Prepare CAPEX monitoring reports
  • Take part in the Fixed Asset physical inventory
  • Carry out Intercompany billing, accounting and reporting activities
  • Perform the non-trade recharges (eg. Royalties, IT cycle, GBS charge-back) post the trade invoices received from non-SAP companies
  • Reconcile intercompany invoices and AP&AR balances
  • Identify possible issues, solve these and escalate them if necessary.
  • Make proposals in projects, see the impacts across the Fixed asset and Inter-company processes.
  • Participation in professional projects.

Requirements

  • Finance degree or equivalent (like Chartered accountant)
  • 3+ Years of experience in Fixed asset and/or Intercompany accounting
  • Fluent English level
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools, SAP experience
  • You have to notch collaboration skills and partnering with stakeholders from all around the world is a familiar environment for you
  • The ability to set ambitious goals and takes ownership to deliver the outcome
  • Make sound, data-informed decisions that align with strategic priorities
  • Actively learns from experience and adapts quickly to new situations
