Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program plans, including project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate the work of project teams and ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and issues
- Ensure that program goals and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders; This may involve setting the goals yourself and obtaining buy in from stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and partners
- Monitor program performance against established goals and objectives
- Report on program progress to stakeholders
- Manage program budgets and resources
- Manage subcontractors, which includes statement of work creation and ensuring subcontract is being executed per the SOW
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures
- Ensure that program work complies with relevant regulations and standards
- Ensure all program deliverables/ Contract Deliverable Requirements (CDRLs) are delivered on time
Requirements
- Active DoD security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in program management or related field
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of program management principles and practices
- Experience in managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously
- Strong technical and business acumen
- Experience managing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Time & Material (T&M) contracts ability to create project schedules to monitor program execution and to brief stakeholders
- Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Prior military experience, especially Navy or Airforce
