About the role

  • Team Lead in Finance responsible for liquidity management and financial reporting at Stadtwerke Potsdam. Overseeing banking communication and supporting annual financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Your responsibilities include daily monitoring of liquidity as well as preparing monthly and annual liquidity forecasts – including planning, analysis and reporting.
  • You act as the primary contact with our house banks, coordinating financings and maintaining sustainable bank relationships across the entire SWP group.
  • You prepare credit tenders, monitor and record interest and repayment schedules for ongoing financings, and keep an eye on long-term developments.
  • You support the annual financial statements of Stadtwerke Potsdam GmbH and our subsidiaries and participate in month-end closing activities.
  • You carry out payment approvals and process online payment transactions for our affiliated companies.
  • As a team leader, you provide professional guidance to your staff, give direction, develop skills, and actively shape collaboration.
  • You are the contact person and project manager for the implementation of IT applications (S/4HANA, LucaNet) in Treasury.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration or a comparable field is your foundation – ideally complemented by a relevant professional qualification.
  • You have several years of professional experience in finance, particularly in payments, financing and liquidity management.
  • Initial leadership experience is an advantage and demonstrates that you can manage teams with professional confidence.
  • Confident use of SAP R/3 and the MS Office suite – especially Excel – is a given for you.
  • Ideally, you have already worked with SAP S/4HANA.
  • You think digitally about processes, are structured and solution-oriented.
  • You work independently, with a strong focus on quality and a well-developed numerical aptitude.
  • At the same time, you impress with a confident manner, strong team orientation and clear communication – even in stressful situations.
