About the role

Responsibilities
- Support in (international) transaction processes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Growth Capital, Financial & Debt Advisory
- Preparation of pitch materials and marketing documents (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations)
- Company, market and competitor analyses, including research on target companies, competitors, markets and potential investors
- Development of financial models, execution of financial analyses and company valuations using standard methodologies (including listed comparables and precedent transaction multiples, DCF method)
- Participation in acquisition, client and investor meetings
- Support in setting up and maintaining (virtual) project data rooms
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in the department (M&A/Growth/Financial Advisory) and other areas of the bank
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in economics, business administration or a comparable field; international experience is an advantage
- Relevant internships and (initial) transaction experience in corporate finance, investment banking or transaction/financial advisory
- Strong analytical skills; experience in financial modeling and good communication skills are beneficial
- High level of commitment, independence, structured working style and team orientation
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and additional experience with transaction tools such as FactSet, PitchBook or Mergermarket
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
