Responsibilities
You will support the preparation of the BASF Group's annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements.
You will handle IFRS accounting topics independently.
Responsible for preparing the relevant notes to the financial statements.
Develop robust analyses and provide technical assessments of accounting-related issues.
Support the quality assurance of financial reporting.
Identify accounting aspects in the context of cross-entity projects.
Support the implementation of digitalization initiatives in management and financial reporting.
Requirements
Completed bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Accounting or Auditing.
Deep theoretical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a strong interest in regulatory developments.
Relevant professional experience; preparation for a professional qualification or experience in academia is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills used in a results-oriented and solution-focused manner.
Confident use of common IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills in German and English.
