About the role

  • Senior Director responsible for workforce strategy and optimization at Sutter Health. Leading analytics and development of system-wide labor improvement strategies for organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the enterprise by leading the team responsible for the development and analytics of system-wide labor improvement strategies
  • Develops short- and long-term strategic goals and plans ensuring alignment with broader organization priorities
  • Utilizes metrics and organizational vision to lead and direct workforce optimization activities
  • Ensures visibility to performance data and productivity information needed to manage labor strategy and expense in real time
  • Ensures all leaders have labor insights needed to support financial and workforce performance goals
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly solve issues and provide accurate guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of experience, with five years in leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of business and operational finance, P&L, and margin management
  • Proven track record of leading transformation and change management initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Strong business acumen to align strategy with business goals
  • Ability to foster relationships and influence within a matrixed organization
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital management
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and techniques
