Network Administrator I supporting the Supreme Court of Nevada's network infrastructure. Hands-on role with cloud and hybrid network management responsibilities in Las Vegas or Carson City.
Responsibilities
Assist with configuring, administering, and maintaining LAN, WAN, wireless, virtual, and cloud network environments.
Perform hands-on administration of cloud networking components in AWS and Azure, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, and connectivity services.
Monitor network performance, availability, and alerts across on-premises and cloud environments; escalate issues as appropriate.
Perform routine network maintenance, patching, and updates under supervision.
Support hybrid network connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
Assist with firewall rule changes, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and cloud network security controls.
Follow network security standards, configuration baselines, and access control policies.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, procedures, and configuration records.
Provide technical support for network-related issues.
Requirements
One to three years of experience in network administration or infrastructure support.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience supporting cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure environments.
Foundational understanding of network security, access controls, and segmentation.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures.
