About the role
- Experienced Service Provider Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate large-scale IP Core and Aggregation networks. Focused on high-availability SP environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and operation of IP Core and Aggregation networks in a Service Provider environment
- Engineering and lifecycle management of BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) platforms
- Deployment and operation of CG-NAT solutions at scale
- Configuration and optimization of routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF)
- Capacity planning, traffic optimization, and resiliency design
- Integration and usage of Juniper Paragon (JRD) for traffic engineering, visibility, and automation
- Troubleshooting complex network incidents across core, aggregation, and edge layers
- Collaboration with architecture, operations, and service teams
- Documentation of designs, configurations, and operational procedures
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience
- Strong experience in Service Provider IP networks
- Proven expertise in IP Core & Aggregation architectures
- BNG platforms
- CG-NAT solutions
- Solid routing knowledge: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS
- Experience with Juniper routing platforms (MX, PTX, etc.)
- Hands-on operational and troubleshooting skills in production SP networks
- Strong understanding of high availability and scalable network design
