About the role

  • Group Benefits Solutions and Insights Analyst supporting program management at Sun Life. Handle project coordination and data analysis for operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in executing cross-functional initiatives to improve problem resolution capabilities, processes, and controls within Group Operations.
  • Assist in enhancing service quality and operational efficiency across multiple teams.
  • Assist in coordinating project delivery across multiple teams.
  • Help manage timelines, deliverables, and resources for various business initiatives.
  • Support the continuous improvement process in collaboration with the Best Practices team.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support hypothesis validation.
  • Assist in preparing data-driven recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Tableau.
  • Support Bright Promise activities and reporting.
  • Liaise with various Group Operations areas, including Health & Dental Claims, Contact Centre, Implementation, and Business Development.
  • Support the Program Manager in organizing and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
  • Help identify and document process enhancement opportunities.
  • Assist in implementing approved process improvements.
  • Track and report on the progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, communications, and other business area deliverables.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation and files.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including leadership and team meetings.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or related field
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • GB Ops or GB Call Centre experience an asset
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience with project management tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Takes initiative and finds creative solutions
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
  • Availability to work overtime when required.
  • Bilingualism (French, English) required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
