- Prepare account reconciliations ensuring they are accurate and meet Sun Life account reconciliation standards
- Identify, investigate, and resolve differences in reconciliations in collaboration with business partners
- Support internal and external audits
- Validate, improve, and document key business processes and controls.
Requirements
- Relevant prior experience with reconciliations, audit, financial reporting and/or internal controls
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of IFRS and SOX controls relevant to the insurance industry
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and flexible to changing priorities and timelines
- Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with Frontier (or other reconciliation tools) and SAP is an asset
- CPA or other relevant designation is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
