About the role

  • Client Advocate responsible for handling inquiries related to disability and leave management at Sun Life. Collaborating with HR and payroll departments to provide comprehensive support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the intake and resolution of inquiries related to leave of absence and disability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executives and staff
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as payroll, HR, and benefits departments
  • Act as the point of contact for Client leave administration
  • Proactively share insights regarding leave administration and disability coverage
  • Analyze trends and perform root cause analysis to improve Client experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate Degree with 2+ years of related work experience
  • Strong computer skills and excellent data entry skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Experience administering FMLA/other leave/absence management programs
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Thorough understanding of contract provisions and administrative policies and procedures
  • Experience in developing materials to support a smooth leave of absence process
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changing Client needs
