About the role

• Change Management Consultant responsible for managing change activities within Retail Advice and Solutions. Supporting organizational transformations and ensuring successful change adoption among advisors and firms.

Responsibilities

• A Change Management Consultant is a key role accountable for change management activities within Retail Advice and Solutions.
• This role supports advisors and firms within all three distribution channels (SLFD, IID and Prospr).
• Changes may include organizational culture transformations, changes that impact business processes and roles, changes in underlying systems or technology platforms and any kind of change that impacts people.
• Their success depends on the successful adoption of new ways of working.
• Working with the Initiative Owner, ensure there is a clear articulation of the change story.
• Assess stakeholder analysis, risk and change impact.
• Execute on the various elements of the change management strategy.
• Anticipate and manage anticipated resistance as a key part of the Change Plan.
• Consult initiative sponsors or project team members as needed.
• Execute key activities identified within the integrated Change Plan that covers all key stakeholder audiences across the key change management activity levers.

Requirements

• University education in the areas of business, marketing, communications or journalism
• Previous experience with similar types of change or transformation initiatives
• Change management certification or designation preferred (e.g. Prosci Certification)
• Financial services experience an asset
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with prior / similar change initiatives
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences at all levels in an organization.
