- Safety Consultant responsible for field audits and safety program implementation in Chicago, Illinois. Conducting investigations, trainings, and establishing relationships for safety improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform field audits and observations on health and safety issues
- Conduct investigations of accidents, injuries, and other issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and policies
- Audit safety performance through observation and inquiry
- Identify improvement opportunities and inform management of solutions
- Deliver safety training programs
- Conduct industrial hygiene exposure monitoring
- Establish and maintain relationships with facility employees
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in safety, industrial hygiene or related discipline
- 3-5 years of safety or related experience required (for Safety Consultant role)
- 7-10 years of safety or related experience required (for Senior Safety Consultant role)
- Safety or utility experience in lieu of a degree may be considered (for Associate Safety Consultant role)
