Responsibilities
Deliver new hire training and new skill training for group underwriters
Perform training audits
Support trainees
Create and update training material and documentation in our Wiki
Create e-learning modules
Support our Quality Review program
Support the Group Underwriting Best Practices team by participating in projects and answering inquiries
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Group Underwriting experience
Familiar with large case underwriting and financial reports
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to train, coach and mentor others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven analytical, problem solving and research skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office software skills
Knowledge of other Group Benefits Departments
Knowledge of adult education principles and practices is an asset
Continuous improvement mindset
Curious about technology and new innovative solutions using GenAI
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only
